Delicious, great service, and one of the most kid-friendly places I've been : triangular crayons, colouring pages, puzzle book, stickers, balloons, and a nice kids menu. My favourite things are anything buckwheat, or their eggs benedict (especially brie and mushroom). Coffee is bottomless, but a bit on the weak side. Their fruit is magnificent: fresh, diverse, and beautifully arranged. For your average breakfast, you're looking at at least 11 or 12 bucks, so not cheap. It's busy here on special days like mother's day. They have gluten-free items, as well as other dietary sensitivities (vegetarian, etc.).
I went on a Saturday morning around 11:30 am and the place was packed. Luckily, my friend had gotten there a bit earlier and had put our names on the list so we only waited around ten minutes. I got the 10 Star omelette with multigrain toast, which was around $15. It looks pretty big in the picture, but wasn't too big in real life (it's pretty thin). I wish they had given more potatoes as there were only a few pieces. Also, if you're expecting an abundance of fruit per the pictures on the menu, you'll be disappointed. There was only one slice of pineapple and slice of cantaloupe. I know Cora has been known in the past for the generous servings of fruit they give you with your meal, but this doesn't seem to be the case anymore.Overall, it was a good meal, but I think there are probably better breakfasts out there. However, it was a nice atmosphere, plenty of parking in the underground parking lot, and good service. It's a decent place to go if you're in the neighborhood.
It tastes good and the waiter has a very good attitude. She likes talking to you very much. I had a good breakfast.(*^__^*)
Large portions of comfort food served in interesting ways. Great setup for physical distancing. Protocols for the pandemic are well observed
The new maple features was really greasy, service is cold, don’t think anyone can finish a dry French toast without syrup. Cora is good in all locations except the one
Amazing service and experience!I wanted to find a place for brunch where it was children freight and Cora's absolutely was the perfect place! The menu was extensive and at times overwhelming as there's a lot to choose from but the layout was great to breakdown the different sections for pancakes, omelettes, crepes, etc. I ordered the 2 Eggs on a Crepe. The crepe was a bit dry and I wished there was a bit more cheese but the 2 Eggs on top (made over easy) gave it the moisture it needed to balance it out. Bacon and ham was not overly salty although I'm sure they're store bought/pre-made, and the fruit was fresh! We were there for about 2 hours and although it was busy, we never once felt rushed to leave and our waitress was so attentive and checked up on us regularly. I don't remember her name but thank you!
My second time here. Forgot about the first time. Would not make any adjustments to my order. I'm vegetarian, didnt want the eggs in my mexican crepe/wrap. Asked them to place the potato wedges in the wrap and the server laughed at me. She suggested she could add brocoli or something else at a extra charge. Skipped the eggs, no adjust to bill. Very empty crepe as you can see. 2 stars for it being edible. Servers should be able to make adjustments. Ill stick to White Spot. This place is run like an Asian sweat shop.
Upon arrival this place just give off a very comforting vibe. There was not much wait and staff quickly seated us. Ambiance was nice and cozy. This place really gives off a different vibe compared to their competitors, not only that their menu offers a variety of different foods, topped with fresh fruits.i was there around 10am so decided to have their strawberry pancake. strawberry pancake - fluffy and airy pancake topped with rich cream whipped cream, fresh strawberry and sliced banana. A gentle sourness from the berry and sweetness of the banana and syrup. Staff here are also really friendly and all had a smile on their faces, made me felt really welcomed.Follow me on my food adventures, Instagram: davytsai92
So good, great service. Delightful!!
Summary: service average, over price, avoid fruit cocktail.Been to Cora for multiple times, not very happy with their service and food quality this time.Went there around 1030am on Saturday. As usual, lots of people with line up. Waited for about 20mins and get our seat.I ordered "fruits cocktail (small) $3.75" And "Jo Tabah "The "fruit cocktail" is really small, and it has a weird taste, feels like the fruit are still unripe (too green). The "Jo Tabah" just looks a little too sad.For this type of food, I feel that it is overpriced. Will eat at some local breakfast place or maybe IHop instead.
I tried this Cora's location today. The food as always was brilliant. It is not cheap but well worth the price point. I realize we are in the middle of a global pandemic but the service is extremely slow. Waitress was awesome but we sat for around 15 minutes without even a hello. I finally asked the hostess for a coffee. I tipped well because our waitress was awesome. I just think they could use more staff. Overall, I would go back. My food was to die for.
Great service and good food! Always packed during on weekends!
Our choice for breakfast shenanigans most of the time, mainly because it's located very close to where we live. I can't say that it's my favorite breakfast spot, but it is pretty decent. The menu is extensive, and the portions are enormous. They are trying to mix up the variety of dishes available all the time, but sometimes it can be hit-and-miss. So there are ups and downs, but overall it is a good place to have breakfast.
Great food and great service!Make sure you bring your phone, as the menu is a QR Code that you scan! Thats a great idea to reduce touched surfaces!
Super busy on the weekends. Try to go before 11am or expect long lineups. Weekdays are quiet except on stat holidays. Most staff are pleasant and wants to be there. While some staff just can't wait for their shift to be over and are the unhappy and grumpy staff.Food is decent enough.
Breakfast price before 8am is very reasonable. Unlimited coffee/tea refill 👍
- very family friendly place, kid was very happy with the free helium balloon- the food is good though not great- most people shouldn't need to worry about being hungry afterwards- price is fair given the service and food portion
Had the chicken melt today the food was okay not the best I had. potatoes were okay and the sandwich tasted funny. The atmosphere was nice we sat by the window the service is great! Won’t be back!
Great food and great staff. Try to get Heather as your server as she is good people. Expect to wait 10-30 min on the weekends, like I said good food there's a line up for a reason. Cannot wait until my next visit, 10 star all the way!
The brunch was good. I found it difficult to find something with smaller portions for myself on the menu though. Sometimes I wish restaurants would realize that there are adults who eat child-sized portions. It was tough to pay $16 for food that would be wasted since I couldn't eat it all. My kids though? Perfect size portions on the kids menu at a reasonable price. We'll come again, but I'll be sure to bring my full appetite!
Family lunch (kids ages 9 & 7) on a weekday. Food tasted delicious, especially the chorizo-ham skillet.
The food was excellent. Portions were generous & delicious
A unique change from the usual greasy spoon breakfast. This place serves the usual breakfast favourites with immense sides of fruit. Adds a lot of colour and pares a lot of the calories that one would usually get from the filler potatoes at more traditional spots. The place gets pretty busy during the weekend brunch rush, so be prepared to spend some time crammed in the tiny waiting area.
Looks like a nice place but unfortunately a bad experience, overcooked eggs, undercooked sausage and potatoes, pancakes had "bits" in them. Mediocre service and a $62 bill for my wife, 6 & 8 year old and myself. The toast was good...
We came here with a group of 12 on a Saturday for brunch. Calling ahead, we let the wait staff know we have a big group and wanted to be sure they would not be overwhelmed by us. They prompted informed us that they don't take reservations but would still make preparations for our arrival. We were quickly seated, and introduced to the specials of the day. In response to such efficient service, we also ordered swiftly and viola! Each plate of food arrived to great excitement and awe as every plate of food looked like a tasty masterpiece. And it was. We are so thankful to all the staff that day who made group feel like a small table of 4 with their quick and responsive service.
My go to for eggs benny! Yes, many argue that you could essentially make their entire menu in your own kitchen for a fraction of the price, but the same can be said of most breakfast chains. Staff were fine, but seen a bit young and inexperienced with the art of accommodation. The fruit was fresh as always, and the hollaindaise sauce is still my favorite !
strawberry waffle and the fruit salad are cool. Lovely place.
The place offers a good variety of breakfast options including granola with fruits, omelettes, various wraps and crepes. Most of them are priced around $15-20 per meal. We had a very nice waitress with good customer service skills.
Exactly what you will expect out of Cora's food quality and service. Ambience was warm, fun and clean. Excellent place for brekky or brunch on a beautiful Sunday. Very kids friendly too. I love the fruits which accompany most of the mains. Give you very good healthy options.
Food was good but I had a mix up with ordering. Was told an advertised item was only lunch item not breakfast even though it was an omelette. After some back and forth I had the item anyway. Other than that all good
Delicious food, wait wasn’t that bad for a Sunday morning. Portions are very filling and generous!!
Ordered a breakfast poutine from this location and the portion was just absolutely tiny. Didn’t even come close to comparing to the Poco location which I’ve had no issues with.
Been going past this place for a couple of years & have never ventured inside. Glad we did today! As busy as it was @ 10 am on a Sat, we got seated quickly & were promptly attended by a server. Drinks came quickly, followed by our food shortly afterwards. Delicious! Fresh fruits piled high! We very much enjoyed the breakfast & friendly service. We will definitely be going back.
Good food and service. Huge portion size, decent pricing. kids friendly
Came around 11AM, so a just time. Waited 16 minutes for a table of 3 which was expected at this time. If you want to get a table quick I find coming 930AM or earlier is best.Table was clean, coffee came quick and food arrived in 13 minutes. Waitress was very snappy and pleasant letting us know what special they had on the smoothies.I would come again as the prices (13 a plate it seemed) were decent and the food was good.
Service is good especially on peak hours, however if you come here at odd times like after lunch, it is a solid 2/10. Food isn't always the same. I've been ordering the same eggs benny dish and sometimes it's good, other days its just downright terrible and it looks like a child prepared it, excluding the fruits obviously.Oh and another thing, my boyfriend saw one of the kitchen guys casually pick his nose while working
It's a great spot for a casual breakfast. I did appreciate their wide variety of menu choices and the service was good. I got the breakfast poutine, it was ok. Pretty on par with something like Denny's. I don't know that I would go out of my way to eat here again, but it was a good experience overall.
I really thought this place was super yummy! We loved it, it was tasty and nice and memorable flavors! Can’t complain! I’d definitely come by again.
Sumptuous brunch! I like their Eggs Ben et Dictine because it comes with nicely-presented fruits! I really want to give them a 5-star but their coffee is not worth it :( Customer service is friendly; parking is free; good vibe!
My boyfriend and I have done both eat in -which was good- and takeaway. We ordered takeaway this morning and all our food was cold when brought home. We live only ten minutes away. Our food should not have been cold, parts of our order were missing,; and they only gave us one set of cutlery, despite having ordered three different portions of food. Never getting takeaway from here again.
Once you get past the Picasso of a menu you get to interesting and fresh food. Service was good and most importantly of course the coffee was on point.. even my 4 year old had a clean plate.. the ten star omelette was worth eating again.
Best breakfast food I've ever had at a reasonable price. Fantastic selection as well! Can't wait to go again.
Great fresh well made eggs, waffles and crepes. The only downside is that there's is always a waiting line and Street parking is busy.Apart from that the services is very good.
Easily the best place in VANCOUVER to have breakfast. The same quality standards in each one of their stores. Totally recommended.
This brunch is sooooo good!I love it. Fruits are fresh and not icy, well cut. The tuna melt is full of tuna, great taste! Burrito crepe tasted great too, not filled with beans but scramble eggs and fried mashroom&onion. Great service. 5 stars for sure!
Went here for an earlier "ish" breakfast with a friend. We were seated very fast, and served without hesitation. Great food with decent portions. Great place for a friendly breakfast after a good night.
Avoid this place like the plague! Horrendous customer service - they take about 10 mins to take your order by phone (kept putting me on hold, then saying oh what is it you wanted to order again?), then you need to double whatever time estimate they give you. Also, don’t expect your order to be correct - always check your takeout bag, as I find about 90% of the time they either give you the wrong order entirely or forget something.
Great brunch options combined with friendly staff makes this place one of the best brunch places.
Great food for reasonable prices. Their breakfasts are the best
Fast friendly service. Very busy here on Mother’s Day. However they got us in quickly and served us promptly. My mango kale smoothie was fantastic. My burger was amazing. Huge portion and fair price. I’ll be back to try the whole menu.
